I have been riding with SLUDGE for the past 7 years and I can honestly tell you that I have never had a flat tyre.

SLUDGE has kept me 100% puncture free since I used my first bottle in October 2009.
I've raced in 3 multi-stage races over rocky and thorny terrain in the past year without obtaining a puncture even once!

Introducing
SLUDGE

When Sludge was created back in 2000, people questioned how much weight it would add to a bike.
Today, riders now believe it is more important to ask how many punctures Sludge is able to fix before the liquid is finished.
Priorities have certainly changed.

Thank you to all our loyal Sludge supporters - without you, we would not have become the worldwide success we are.

Gone are the days of being worried about getting a flat tyre on my mountain bike.
Since I started using Sludge sealant I have had no punctures.
I have suffered of punctures during races and it has costed me dearly, because although I was using tyre sealant, it wasn't Sludge.
Whether you are a racing snake or just exploring on your mountain bike, nobody likes to get stuck with a tyre that does not want to seal.

UNI-SEAL & Tubeless

Sludge UNI-SEAL and Tubeless are products that contain fibres and cannot be used in any wheel that has a non-removable valve, but can be used in all mountain bikes with tubeless tyres or tubes with removable valves.

UNI-SEAL comes in a 200ml bottle which will do two wheels.

Tubeless comes in a 100ml bottle which will do one wheel.

Road SLUDGE

This product is specially developed for road bikes with Presta valves. It contains microfibres to allow the sealant to pass through the valve.

For this reason, it will not seal as big a hole as SLUDGE UNI-SEAL. Mountain bikes that have Presta valve tubes can also use this product, but please note that it will only work on small punctures like thorns.

It is available in a 100ml bottle and will do two road wheels and one mountain bike wheel.

ALL Terrain

This is an all new concept of sealant.

It is not as sticky, which makes it ideal for tubbies.

This product also contains fibres, which means that it can only be used with tubeless tyres and removable valve tubes.

It is available in a 100ml bottle, which will do two road wheels and one mountain bike wheel.

This product contains no ammonia

Frequently Asked
QUESTIONS

Yes it is. SLUDGE is a local product produced in Cape Town and exported all over the world
People believe the myth that if it is local, then it is not good. There are some good homemade products out there and SLUDGE is one of them. If SLUDGE is good enough to be exported to Europe it must have some merits. If you have a problem, you can contact me. I am at events and put a lot back into cycling. If you have a problem with imported tyre sealants, who do you speak to?
I am sure that this has been tried by some cyclists but I don’t recommend it.
This depends on a number of factors, such as the number of punctures you’ve had, distance cycled, temperatures etc. I would recommend replacing the tyre sealant every three months or after about every 2000km cycled.
Yes you can, but you still need to replace after the above-mentioned period.
First, pump your wheel and spin it around so that the liquid can recoat the inside of the wheel. If it keeps pressure, it will stay hard once again. To be on the safe side though, just top up with SLUDGE.
All top MTB cyclists use tyre sealants, which is why they win. SLUDGE is spread all over the inside of the tyre and it would be difficult to calculate the overall weight added to the bicycle. The protection SLUDGE gives you far outweighs the negligible weight added by the presence of the sealant itself.
